James Jackson – wildlife and landscape photographer

James was born in London, England and immigrated to Ontario, Canada with his family at ten years of age after spending early childhood years in both the Bahamas and the US.  At eighteen he moved to Alberta, calling it home ever since.  From a young age, James felt drawn to music and the visual arts. Together with his love for the arts is his lifelong passion for the outdoors and wildlife.

James’ love for wildlife and landscape photography began while taking a course at the New York Institute of Photography during the pandemic.  With a newly found love for the camera, it seemed only natural to embark on an adventure, capturing the multitude of beauties and treasures to be found in Alberta and the Canadian Rockies.

All of James’ images are printed on fine art aluminum, a dye sublimation process that brings out stunningly rich colours in high-definition detail.
